To 'negate' the Environmental Sounds in your abode while you are Sleeping : One method is to Tune to an FM Radio Station that plays Classical Music. Turn the Audio down low until is just is slightly louder then the Ambient Noise http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ambient_noise_level in your Bedroom. This is reported to do two things. 1 - Allow your Mind to Focus and Sing and Dance to the Complex Classical Music {Sub-Conscientiously Relax} 2 - Allow your Mind not to focus on and be distracted by Environmental Sounds {Ambient Noise} in the Bedroom. {Sub-Conscientiously Be Active and Stressed} Follows the Line-of-Thinking behind the "Mozart Effect" and play Mozart Music to Babies. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozart_effect http://www.babysleepsystem.com/babysmart/mozart.htm http://www.amazon.com/Mozart-Effect-.../dp/B00004X0QF The Mozart Effect : Online Resources on Music/Brain Research http://www.parenting-baby.com/Parent...-Research.html =Q= Does Classical Music Make Kids Smarter ? http://encarta.msn.com/encnet/depart...classicalmusic TV and Sleeping Cautions {Warnings} : =Q= Does Sleeping with the TV On ? FM interstation noise is a lower amplitude at the high end of the audio spectrum. |

There were drawbacks. The kids would wake up in the middle of the night and start swearing along with spewing racist garbage while looking for any sort of alcohol. The little males would develop an intense dislike of females, causing them to join the Navy and never marry.
