I wouldn't mess around with a land line phone line, but a few years ago
Roger Fredinburg www.regularguy.com on his radio talk show said to
wrap your phone line around your radio and see if that improves
reception.I did that, I didn't notice any improvement at all.

The Exalted Tin Foil Hat Beings (ETFHB) claim that
with 3-Turns of a Phone Line around their Heads that
They can 'hear' Illegal Alien Invaders walking across
the US/Mexico Border. ;-)
