MAURITANIA - Coup in progress
 

Heard on WLS, and also posted to DXLD.

There is a coup in progress in Mauritania. State Radio and TV apparently shut
down.

Maybe, with a new regime, they'll start QSL'ing again. My fingers are crossed.

I understand that the radio is up again (at least via internet streaming) from various reports.
Have to check 4845 here later on to see if they are on SW. (Typically sked to 0100, but perhaps on
later due to the coup?).

Seemingly not on as I'm hearing nothing on 4845. I am starting to get a het on about 4845.3 which is
most likely Radio Cultura Ondas Tropicals in Manaus, Brazil.
