Think 1980, when the country experienced a massive backlash against a government that had gone too far left, and had failed its citizens. Today, there is an equally powerful backlash against a government that has gone equally way-too-far right, and it's going to fuel very *interesting* turn-out patterns that will confound all the pollsters and their historically-based "likely voter" turnout calculations.
