When I did the upgrade, I didn't realize so much was going to be overwritten. It's a good thing I had a separate partition called /store that didn't get changed. All my downloads live there. I'd upgrade that but it's a custom distro with all the EeePC bugs worked out. |

The edit beast in the garage upgraded uneventfully, and it has a lot of custom stuff (10 X 10 Envy 24 soundcard, etc.), but that's a different kernel (Ubuntu Studio). |
