The issue is not whether satire is a valid form of presentation, the issue is whether a satirist is a credible source of news. To get back to your original assertion, Jon Stewart is a satirist. Not a reporter. He deals in perspective. He presents HIS perspective. He doesn't report facts. A clown may base his act on facts. But he is not a factual source. |
