IBM to help build broadband network in power lines
I swear I don't understand why people keep reviving this corpse. BPL will never work. It certainly is an engineering disaster... but then, the FCC seems to be keen on engineering disasters of late.. This time the money (low cost loans) is provided by the department of Agriculture. Probably their desktops and servers also, but I'm not sure about that. Did someone think that IBM computers were made in the U.S.A.? Virtually all high tech gear is made in Taiwan, China, Japan and Korea. |
