Since cold weather set in a week hasn't gone by that a house fire
hasn't been reported by the local media in my area. As usual, the
cause of the most recent was determined to be a malfunction in a
Chinese made space heater. Damage was estimated at $15,000 to the
structure and $25,000 to the contents. Fortunately no one was killed
this time.

I urge every member of this group to PLEASE get rid of these death
machines - it just isn't worth risking your families lives, house and
possessions by using inferior and dangerous Chinese junk in your home.
Doing so is a tragedy just waiting to happen and nobody deserves that.
