You guys doing any DXing. I have the radios right here beside my arm
and I
don't think about turning them on half the time (I stop and turn the radio
on).

Boy winter is here, it got down to 80f today but the cold air works
better for the radio waves. I may have to put a shirt on tonight if it stays
this cold.

It's 845z and not a lot of radio on here right now. Got CRI on 15625
but "it ain't good"c23232. I'll check out others.

Got that CRI (pretty sure it was that frequency, would have to go and look)
around 0600 UTC. Was coming in very well on the Sony Xplode car radio. Sure
is strange to hear stock market reports on a communist state run radio
station...

Indians are. Must have been recorded before last week!!

1044 6150 Alaska KNLS mixing english and chinese talking about daily life
about 3's This could be wrong.

1045z 6185 KHz North Korea In Koreain with the national musice in back
ground.

1047z 15460 KHz Iran "VOIRI" Sinpo 44245 also on 17660 but better on
15460. They are talking about local news, children killed on bus.

Been cold here with a bit of snow. Sure would like to feel 80 degrees again, but
at present I'd probably not enjoy it as I've a cold and/or the flu. First time
been sick in a few years.

I've had a nice noisemaker (60 Hz) fire up here in the past week. Yesterday it
went continuous running about S7. Called the power company, and within about 45
minutes(!) I looked out the window and there were two guys out there, one with a
dish device trying to find the arcing.

Invited them in to give a listen and said they'd keep looking and probably have
to bring out the other RFI sniffer radio with the small Yagi antenna.

That's service! Have pretty good luck here now as the head of BPW is a ham, and
the new fellow who was here is a former ham and head of transmission &
distribution.

They'll get it fixed.
