Once you get accustomed to your new radio hopefully you'll buy you a
loop antenna from rat shack or some where else. Did you check to see if they had one? If you are going to try an DX stations other than the 50,000watt flame throwers you should have one. The following stations were up till at least a couple years ago if I am right. I am sure there may be a few that no longer exist, but these are/were "truly" the rare. Oh crap- there are so many of them I would be up for a couple hours typing these out. I have a list from of course 540-1600 and now that I see the date it is from 10/14/01 back when I was really into it. I'll try an find a updated list for you and others. |

This isn't a list but this is a pretty cool site, I can't believe I have never seen this before. {?} http://www.radio-info.com/smf/index....0184.msg895460 |

Save the work and go to Lee Freshwater's www.amlogbook.com which is a marvelous DX resource. |

... If you are interested in the history of SW, www.americanradiohistory.com has about half of the Radex (1925-1942) magazines ever published, and the Radex pubs have quite a bit of SW / DX listings. So David Gleason IS your real name! Is "David Eduardo" just your online handle? "Bob Campbell" is not my real name either - just the handle I'm currently using. |

I have used the given names online since The Well in the 80's. "Bob Campbell" is not my real name either - just the handle I'm currently using. |

I only brought it up because the very first time I poked my head in here, there was some long thread going on where the "usual trolls" were calling you a liar and "fake Hispanic" and jumping all over you for using a "fake name" (as if *their* names here are real). I quickly figured out who the idiots were and who knew what he was talking about. Nice web site, BTW. |
