The Sony ICF-SW7600 is a compact, microprocessor-controlled, frequency
synthesized general coverage portable receiver. Direct access tuning is
provided along with a multifunction LCD digital readout for unsurpassed
convenience and accuracy (5 kHz step on shortwave). Just press the numbered
keys to match the frequency you want to hear. Manual and automatic scan
tuning are also provided. Ten memories are provided for your favorite
stations. The ICF-SW7600 tunes from 150 to 29995 kHz for solid coverage of
LW, MW and shortwave. Single Sideband (SSB) reception is supported. A record
output jack is included for taping off the air. Advanced features include:
dial light, LED tune indicator, tilt stand, keypad lock, 24 hour digital
quartz clock with dual timer, Local-DX sensitivity switch, sleep timer,
alarm, tone switch, earphones jack and external antenna jack. There is a
9/10 kHz MW channel step switch inside the battery comparment. Supplied
accessories include: AN-61 wind-up antenna, AC adapter, Sony Wave Handbook,
Owner's manual, carrying case and strap, buitl-in antenna, earphone and
adapter plug to connect an additional external antenna. Only 7.5 x 4.75 x
1.25 inches 22 oz. This radio requires 6 VDC (AC adapter supplied) or four
AA cells (not supplied).
