Is It True ? - That Half of All Americans Pay No Income Tax ? If you include the Earned Income Tax Credit, yes it's not only true, but many Americans get a refund on top of paying no income taxes. Because of the EITC, an example is the lady with 2 kids only wants to work part-time at minimum wage so she gets a $5,000+ income tax refund check. She flat out says if she worked more, she would actually earn less. |
