Most of the old rusty license plate on my Jeep long since either broke
off or rusted off before I bought it a few years ago from an elderly guy who lives about 13 miles from doggy's couch. The year/date on the plate says 1969.I guess that is how long since the Jeep was last driven. The guy has two big yard dogs. They had chewed completly through both of the heavy cables of the Jack & Heintz electric winch on the front of my Jeep. www.jeepdraw.com in Australia has a lot of info about World War Two era Jeeps and other kinds of old Military vehicles.
