Well, I don't think exact numbers exist. Some have returned to
terrorism. Many of the
Gitmo detainees turned out to be totally innocent, so I'll venture
that more turned out
innocent than returned to terrorism.

But American jurisprudence has long been based off the principle that
it's better to let
ten guilty people go free as opposed to incarcerating one innocent
individual.

I think most of us feel pretty confident that fewer innocents will be
tortured and killed in the battle against terrorism during the Obama
presidency than suffered under the Bush-Cheney fiasco. Or are you
suggesting, RHF, that the risk of killing innocents negates the
necessity of battling terrorism?

Or do you have any idea about what you're saying? Consistency is
