At roughly 8GMT Wednesday, this station was broadcasting an
unmodulated AM carrier at 9063KHz, with periodic bursts of data. Most
of the hits on the frequency indicate it used to be a Cuban numbers
frequency.

Apparently, whatever they are doing, they are now doing it digitally.

Certainly not MCW. I will make it a point to record it next time.
They broadcasted a dead carrier most of the time, then data bursts
over AM. That is, I never saw the signal strength drop. So I have to
assume this is meant to be received on pretty low tech gear, like a
cheap shortwave radio into a soundcard.

At about 8GMT on Friday, they did xmit MCW, then some digital mode.
