Newreader on BBC World Service...Munez?
There is a guy who reads the newsbreaks on BBC_WS overnight with a deep
cultured voice....with a British accent of course. I believe he said his last name was "Munez"? Based on the sound of his voice, he sounds black.....that's allI have to descibe hime. Anyone know more about him or his profile? Just curious who this voice belongs to. Thanks! |

Hmmm...I dont see anyone on the list with a similar sounding name.
I believe this list is just the presenters of programs (World Today, Outlook, etc) ...and not the people that actually do the "headline capsule" near the top of the hour. If you heard this guys voice....you would remember it...Deep...Cultured....British.....and sounds like a black mans vocal patterns. Thanks "Stephen O'Connell" wrote in message ... I think you'll find it's Neil Nunes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neil_Nunes http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2006/mar/26/radio.bbc When he first appeared on the air a couple of years ago, he was virtually unintelligible, but he's improved a lot since then! Now, can someone tell me how to decode Lyse Doucet :-) -- Ian |

I know there's a James Menendez, but he's not on the latest roster (from 1 March this year). But neither is Judy Swallow... http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/sp...esenters.shtml |
