Very true. Unfortunately, as a species, we seem to be doing everything we
can to get rid of those nuisance plants, especially forests/jungles to make
room for more concrete and asphalt.


A plant releases its captured CO2 when it dies. Now a GIANT REDWOOD is
one hell of a carbon sink because it's the size of a destroyer and lives
thousands of years. People want to turn them into patio furniture and
picnic baskets.
