Fort Hood Shooting was Preventable
From:
http://www.radiotalkingpoints.com/ar...eA ndLet.html Fort Hood Shooting was Preventable I'll keep this short and sweet. The shootings at a recruiter station in the United States earlier this year were evidence that a subversive element in the United States was present and acting to effect the harm of soldiers in the employ of the United States Government. The event of 9/11 was also evidence that radical terrorists were in the United States trying to inflict damage. This event is preventable by following the most basic of all infantry combat rules, don't congregate soldiers. This goes back to the Revolutionary War, you don't stand in a line and exchange fire with the enemy. I sincerely believe there was no need to congregate those soldiers in that manner on the base, they could have staggered the processing so that no more than a dozen or so soldiers would be processed at any one point in the laborious processing day, or within firing range of a hand gun. This is not unreasonable, considering that the military probably has within its ranks members who have been exposed to radical Islamic propaganda, which has proven to be effective when certain social and environmental factors are mentally projected in the right combination on an individual to effect their thought patterns and ideas. Without going into a lengthy psychoanalysis (90% of the science is junk anyway, you end up writing a book to disprove contemporary thinking) the same thought process that a person goes through to wake up and go to work with a smile on their face can also be manipulated to make one think their lot in life is hopeless because of others (sound familiar, tactics used on the poor?) Of course this is a curious observation to communists, since you can not possibly pursue a world government when there are large blocks of poverty, and redistributing the wealth does nothing to tell people how to create it, which deepens, rather than solves problems (hence why Conservatism is on fire today)? I had the privilege of serving at Fort Hood, and when the base is locked down, the security is very deep, including metal detectors at entrances of sensitive buildings. These kinds of things are not new, the events have happened through out the history of war, and police stations and other military recruiting centers are targeted frequently by those in Iraq and other countries. By congregating so many unarmed soldiers in one area, it sounds like they made a temptation to good to pass up to the mind of a terrorist. In any event, you can be sure that future security measures may include armed guards to accompany events where large numbers of soldiers are congregated, or that soldiers are allowed to carry personal fire arms. Part of being a soldier that lives, is understanding that to avoid becoming a target, you stay away from others as much as possible. Military training bases are basically artificial hell on earth, in some aspects. They simulate combat and social pressures designed to break and train soldiers for real battles. If you did not want the hot temper of an 18 year old with a gun in a training environment, surely the trainers and supervisors should always have them. An ammo clip with $10 worth of ammo could have prevented the loss of life and liberty, not to mention the hundreds of hours of training spent on these people. And it also sends the message to the rest of us, if we don't carry a gun, maybe we should at least carry a big steel ball bearing, or a baseball, or a rock, and practice a simple technique(s)at home in our spare time, drop, roll, and throw, at simulated targets of bad guys. Being that this is the most exciting, most entertaining, fact finding, brain busting, fun loving, liberal egg shell mind crunching, invincible smacketh downeth erectus amongus, you can't see the truth coming, but you know it is anyway, sonic boom of Conservatism, and, most powerful keyboard in the world, Do you feel lucky? October 10th, 2009, especially in light of anticipated, and hopefully defeated, legislative taxes relating to energy use and the burden of publishers and advertisers to comply with the law and manage
