The first thing that comes apparent while watching the show is how quickly eager people who want public fame latch on to the first bit of "scientific" knowledge they get their hands on, and then go completely wild with the conclusions and aspirations surrounding such knowledge? Satan walked the Earth, and his name at one time in history was Shaw? Remarkable similarities of how they are using global climate data with the same historical significance that early leaders such as Shaw envisioned using that "data"? We won't even get into the discussion about when God changes the laws of physics at his whim, in order to prove our humility? Wow. Did he steal Sarah Palin's eye wear? Nice job Glenn. Now I understand why President Reagan put those missiles in Europe? We've got to get rid of this socialist garbage from schools, or else more will abuse scientific knowledge they don't know how to use? We'll work some more on that later...... |

If I was so "stupid" you would be ignoring me, and of course you demonstrate clearly why the public should hold people with "scientific claims" with as much contempt as those who have a lethal communicable disease -- with extreme caution. And that was about the most polite thing I could say about your reply. There is nothing more insulting than having your fellow man discard your decades of life experience as some sort of way of proving how much more intelligent "he" or "they" are. And of course such personal comments that target me personally, do not make me scared, they make me angry, which means I will work harder at what I do. Thanks for the inspiration. You see your slight of hand, your "accepting the responsibility" with your unproven and unprovable "superior intelligence" allows you to tap into that anger, that frustration, because its the oldest play in the book, and the only one liars know, which is why socialists have been miserable throughout history?
