Those are salt ponds, of course. Purposely filled with water that is
then allowed to stagnate and evaporate.

On further thought, I have not driven along that road in awhile - I am
trying to recall whether that area is open water or more of a plant-
laden wetland. Now I need to check!

Which American Radio/TV Transmitter Towers are the tallest?
http://www.freebase.com/view/architecture/tower

Check out WLBT's FM/TV Tower.Recently, a couple or so months ago, some
extra height/structure/apparatus/whatever was added to WLBT's Tower so
as to reach all over Meeseeseepeepeeeye, and probally reaches out some
more into Cajunland and Arkysaw and Tennersee and Alabamy and the Gulf
of Mexico too.A lot of those Boats and Ships wayyyy out there do have
Radios and TV sets, dontcha just know?

Cool Hand Luke has started on the TCM channel, right now.
Checkin my yo yo there, boss!

Bing Maps has aerial photos, in addition to satellite and road maps.
