The power establishments favorite errand boy Bill O' Reilly was on the
radio today enthusiastically gushing how wonderful and necessary a
national identity card for every American is.

This is coming from the same flunkie who fanatically promoted the
illegal invasion of Iraq because "it's essential...Saddam has WMD's...
blah blah blah".

This is coming from the same tool who was one of the loudest
cheerleaders for the $1,000,000,000,000 bailout for the bankers
because "it is absolutely essential to prevent a total collapse of the
ecomomy". I can still hear the arrogant asshole smugly dismissing
anyone who disagreed with him saying "you just don't understand the
situation".

Given Bill O's the Clown track record of being so completely wrong on
every major policy decision I think we should pass on the national ID
card.

It really is astonishing that this usher has any credibility left. But
I guess when your target audience is Mr. & Mrs. Idiot American
credibility isn't a prerequisite.

What is the next issue his handlers will order him to sell? Gun
confiscation for our own safety? After all, he is always telling us
that he "is the only one looking out for the folks".
Uh huh.

Gee thanks Bill - now go get your F*****G SHINE BOX.

Not to mention he thinks he knows more than judges about how to deal with
the law.

I'm in total agreement with you on the national ID card. Government has too
many leashes on us already.

Another of "Mr. I'm the smartest guy in the room" gems was his
trumpeting support of the Immigration Reform Act of 2007 which would
have granted amnesty to over 20,000,000,000 (at least) illegal
immigrants.

Don't you just get warm fuzzies all over knowing Billo is looking out
for all of us regular "folk"!

20 *BILLION*? Who are you, Carl Sagan or something? :-D

I am convinced that the folks at Fox:

1 - Don't really pay attention to the detail of what they are talking
about - it's not their job -

2 - Make up stuff and pretend to their audience that it's news - that
IS their job.

I get MY news from Radio New Zealand International.

My kind of weather. Beats this boring nonsense here in California.

Give me thunder! Blizzards! Tornadoes! Hurricanes! Anything but 2
months of gentle rain and 7 months of sun (and three months of
undecided).

I'll bet it is. Nice T-Storms and blizzardy weather. Also has the
benefit of *both* oceans (maybe all three? How does the Arctic ice
skip a signal?) to receive bounce across, at least some programs
generally aimed your way, and good positioning for graylines on lots
of days. Not too many big cities to screw up reception either.

I bet you even see an aurora once in awhile :-)

Western Massachusetts used to be nice for all of this too. Ah, the
good old days...

Yes, the surfing in the North Woods is very nearly as good as
carp fishing in Rye, Az.

The same way antenna grease reduces radiation resistance.

Yes, the cities are small. The WOMEN are large.

But the Cheese and Potato buffet at the supper club is for that.

I bet you even see an aurora once in awhile :-)

No, but I did see a Reatta about a week ago.

The church fish fry is better in Wisconsin.
