at 0953 - I have it here. Not hearing anything yet, thanks for the
heads up - I forgot about that.

Heh, the crew just said, interestingly enough that they were giving
the OK on the descent and the crew said "they have a new antenna up."
Pretty cool - hope everything works out well and everything goes
smooth.

Hopefully it won't break up on the way down.

Yeah, no doubt. I remember for years I had every freq that had seen
action on the take offs and landings. It was like a holiday for me,
for some reason I just kind of lost the zest a bit. I guess I just got
into different aspects of the hobby all together. But it'll definitely
be great if everything goes fine.

Did you or anyone else in here copy the Challenger tragedy, was that
the name I forget? Now that would have been something to hear, not to
sound too morbid.

I was sitting beside my bed playing solitaire and listening to KNX when that
happened, remember it well, and at the time wondered why the lead foot 110%
throttle up order was given, even though it now seems to not have been a factor.
The radio was a Sony analog portable but I don't remember its model number.
