22:00 GMT on the following short-wave frequencies:
5950 kHz (49 metre band)

These frequencies seem odd to use beaming to a location that is in 24
daylight. I would think 11mHz and 13mHz would be the optimum. Any
thoughts?

Thoughts? Just why would you think that Antarctica is in 24 hour daylight at this time
of year?
