calling out to Romero y Julietta over a period of 20 Minutes.

UTC; but i could not hear Comandante Corvette . . .

Do you hear a lot of fishing boats? That's what I hear at random places.
Mexican fishermen. They just use any blank spot on the dial they want to.

One of the Time References in this last one
was : Tres Treinta -t- 3 & 30 @ 3:30 AM PDT
which was my local time. -So- it was most
likely a Mexican Station in Western Mexico
or may be some one right here in California.

It is not normal comms between Fishing Boats
Truck Dispatchers; Amateur Net-Controllers or
even CBers.

Mostly they seem to use the Phonetic Alphabet

with a Spanish Accent and Spanish Numbers.

They use Code Names like "Papa Charley" versus
a Ships Name or a Ship's Captain's Name; or even
a Nick Name and Ship "Big Mike on the West Wind"
* No Lat & Long
* No Sea Weather
* No Call Signs or other IDs

They do seem to use USB in the Lower Bands
versus LSB like the Amateurs/Hams; and
vice-versa on the upper bands.

Unless I write it down I really don't recall any of
it cause it is in Spanish : So a name like "Papa
Charley" that is repeated many times is written
down with the time but the rest is just so much
noise that does not stick in the ear.

Used to know a guy in the East Bay that ran
comms between his home and Central America
for Visitors by Appointment; so that they could
Talk to their Families back home in the 1960s/70s.

Now with Cellphones and low cost Calling Cards
I don't think anyone needs to do that anymore.
