The unemployment calculations have not changed simply because Obama is
now the president. If we wish to compare the state of the economy to the
past then we can't be changing the way we account for unemployment.
Having said that, I will say that wages are going to suffer greatly
because of the glut of labor caused by off shoring American production.
Obama did not do that. It was done long before he can to town.

That is pig ****, of course. But we would expect nothing less. I am one
of the sane people who understands that technological innovation and
capital development along with consolidation has dramatically reduced the
need for labor. There will be an army of unemployed and the only proper
address is a reduction in the work week. Make it very expensive for
employers and small business people to "hog" pay less people to work
extended hours.
