Let's see an Airplane in the Sky with 100~300
Passengers on-board being Blown-Up a/o Falling
Out of the Sky a/o Flown into a Building.

-or- A Bus with 45~60 Passengers on-board
being Blown-Up a/o Driven into a Building*.

* Most likely a Terrorist would get a Car/Truck
and make the process a lot simpler with a
direct attack.

1 - Buses simply are NOT a High Value Target.
-wrt- Airplane $100M -v- Bus $100K
-and- Airplane 300 People -v- Bus 60 People

2 - Buses are a Soft Target -but- Why try to get
On a Bus to Blow-It-Up ? Just put a Package on
the XYZ Package Express is a lot easier.
-or- Do a Road-Side IED
-or- Do a On-the-Road Stop and Destroy

Bus Stations might be a Target of some 'value'
But again not as Valuable as an Airport.
-also- Bus Stations have fewer Passengers
then an Airport -so- Less Terror News Impact.

Other then Airports and Airplanes the next level
of Targets are not Busses -but- Trains and Train
Stations. In Facility's Value and Number of
Passengers.

A Train Fright Car filled with Fuel a/o Compressed
Gas with an IED going through a City is a Real Threat.

For shear Numbers of People Sporting Events
offer the most Bodies for a Terrorist Act and
should have a High Threat Assessment.

Having said all the above : IMHO putting $1M
Full Body Scanners in Bus Stations is NOT the
Best 'Bang-Stopper' for the DHS's Tax Payers
