I reckon I was reckonin it was somewhere in North California where the
Donner Party/people froze to death, some of them, anyway.But, out there
on the Prairie, there are a lot of Fowl and other Game to trap/shoot and
eat.

In the summertime there is, in the snow covered pass, during the winter,
you best take food with you, or else another human to eat -- when they
freeze to death ... LOL
