There is another JJY transmitter (at a familiar 60KHz) in another part
of the country . Time is immaterial (for now) in lieu of the clear and
present danger from the Fukushima reactors . . .

I've been guilty of this too. OTOH, there are some catastrophes so
horrible that time won't erase the tragedy.
