Default 9/11 debris fills basement levels and is forced to flow debris...

But vinegar and salt doesn't have that nice fermenting smell.

works, I will derust them too.
Rust Never Sleeps!

That's a Neil Young song.

The best, and cheapest way to get rid of rust on tools is thusly:

Get a big jug of white vinegar and pour it in a plastic pail. Dissolve
as much regular salt in it as it will take. When you get salt on the
bottom and it's not dissolving anymore, no matter how hard you stir,
it's enough.

A gallon of vinegar will probably take a couple of pounds of salt.

Place rusty tools in the liquid overnight. Make sure the liquid
*completely* covers the tools, or you'll get a line across the metal you
will NEVER get rid of.

This liquid removes only rust and is reusable for months.

- It's also non toxic

? A Gallon of Vinegar is Non-Toxic !

? A Couple of Pounds of Salt Dissolved to the
Saturation Point in Vinegar is Non-Toxic !

Plus add-in all the Dissolved Rust from
your Rusty Old Tools . . .

- when you finally pour it out in the
- back of the garden.

Remind me -n-o-t- to eat anything from
Ten Metres around that 'non-toxic' spot
in your garden [.]

Now I see why you're so weird. Why do you need to be spoon-fed a diet of
one kind of opinion? Americans used to be free thinkers; now we need
continuous validation of faith and dogma? You are a fear addict. (And a
vidiot!)

I have some Evapo-Rust and some Must For Rust and some OSPHO and some
Almost Magic rust remover stuff.I have tried Navel Jelly before and a
few other rust removers. And sand blasting and round wire brushes with my
electric drill, those damn wires get loose and will poke holes in your
body, that has happened to me a lot of times before.
Molasses sounds better to me.
