Consider that law-abiding people simply have learned to avoid
neighborhoods and situations. Concealed carry has really cut crime.
Roving ferals attacking people should be shot on the spot. Subhumans.

If they are a clear and present threat to life and limb, I'd agree!

Something needs to be done, as all that is happening right now is a
worsening of the problem(s.)

Preliminary Annual Uniform Crime Report, January–December 2010

Preliminary figures indicate that, as a whole, law enforcement agencies
throughout the Nation reported a decrease of 5.5 percent in the number of
violent crimes brought to their attention in 2010 when compared to figures
reported for 2009. The violent crime category includes murder, forcible
rape, robbery, and aggravated assault. The number of property crimes in the
United States from January to December of 2010 decreased 2.8 percent when
compared to data from the same time period in 2009. Property crimes include
burglary, larceny-theft, and motor vehicle theft. Arson is also a property
crime, but data for arson are not included in property crime totals. Figures
for 2010 indicated that arson decreased 8.3 percent when compared to 2009
figures.

I'll look up the crime stats, if you are correct, I'll get a place there!

Any city in the USA.

Your local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies will protect you.

But, stay armed and keep playing with your guns for the extra protection
you need.

So then, this is a good example?:

When the difference between life and death is a matter of seconds, the
police will be there in minutes.

A couple of weeks ago, there was a woman who was attacked while she
was taking a shower. She tried beating him with the shower rod, but
that wasn't successful. The attacker dragged her to the bedroom where
she had a 22. She unloaded 9 rounds into him. He was taken to the
hospital where he died. [1]

The good news is that he didn't die with the first shot; when you are
killing a perpetrator, you want him to know that he is going to die.

and taking autos ...

I knew there was going to be problems when that started that illegal
search and seizure chit ... now it is going to be hard to stop them!
