In some really good gear, there can be hundreds, even thousands on one
chip, and a few chips in the gear, at that ...

My Flex 5000 is GREAT,
(http://www.flex-radio.com/Products.a...=F5Ka_details). There
must be thousands of transistors in that computer, err transceiver, well
SDR radio, anyway (the transistors in there, they are kinda' small and
hard to count!)

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know.But I was talking about regular radios, not
computers.I wonder how many Transistors are in my Philips WebTV set top
box?
