About fifteen sumpin years ago, I listened to an 18 wheeler truck driver
on I-20, (here in Jackson,backwater hick Missy Sippy) he said he just
got through with talking to a guy in New Zealand via CB Radio.Of course
that was at night time though.

Yeah, in fact of the business,,,, sometimes 5 Watts can, and does really
reach wayyyyyyyy out thar.

How many Watts did ET use when he phoned home?

Just curious; what supports your 43' vertical wire? Pole, tree, helium
balloon, or ... ?

A Max-Gain 43' telescoping fiberglass mast. They're the people with
Bristol wrenches for Mil-Spec boatanchors, too.
