I needs to change the oil and filter in my old 1983 Dodge van. I have GOT to find my oil filter wrench! I could slam a screwdriver through the filter and twist it off, bit I don't like to do it that way.

I found my old rinky dink oil filter wrench. Now, tomorrow I needs to go buy some Valvoline motor oil and a Wix oil filter. On the other hand I just might go to Acey's auto shop on McDowell Road and let them change it for me, fuel filter too.Ergo my old beat up gravel and dirt driveway, there isn't enough room for me to slide under my van. Van has a single I beam front axel and a lonnng aluminum running board on both sides. I don't think I feel like jacking up all four wheels on my big ass full size van. Oh, I lobster, then I flounder,,,,,,

If you put it on according to the directions you don't need a wrench to
get it off. I have been hand-tightening oil filters for almost 50 years
and haven't lost one yet. I only need a wrench if I let the idiots at
the dealership change my oil.
