Exposed: Inside the NSA’s Largest and Most Expansive Secret Domestic Spy Center in Bluffdale, Utah

"A new exposé in Wired Magazine reveals details about how the National
Security Agency is quietly building the largest spy center in the
country in Bluffdale, Utah, as part of a secret NSA surveillance
program codenamed "Stellar Wind." We speak with investigative reporter
James Bamford, who says the NSA has established listening posts
throughout the nation to collect and sift through billions of email
messages and phone calls, whether they originate within the country or
overseas. The Utah spy center will contain near-bottomless databases
to store all forms of communication collected by the agency. This
includes the complete contents of private emails, cell phone calls and
Google searches, as well as all sorts of personal data trails —
parking receipts, travel itineraries, bookstore purchases and other
digital "pocket litter." "The NSA has constantly denied that they’re
doing things, and then it turns out they are doing these things,"
Bamford says in response to NSA Director General Keith Alexander’s
denial yesterday that U.S. citizens’ phone calls and emails are being
intercepted. "A few years ago, President Bush said before camera that
the United States is not eavesdropping on anybody without a warrant,
and then it turns out that we had this exposure to all the warrantless
eavesdropping in the New York Times article. And so, you have this
constant denial and parsing of words."

This is nothing new, or perhaps sinister. I recall reading "The Puzzle Palace" by James Bamford back in 1982
or so.

The CIA computers (massive Cray machines) were simply programmed to look for "key words", perhaps like bomb,
assassinate, etc., and then an alert to look at those things to determine whether there was some possible
threat or not.

It is very naive to trust the Secret Police (who nominally work for
Barack Hussein Fetchit, but it's more nearly the other way round)
when they tell you they are only looking for "threats" and that
their fondest desire is to protect Amurrica, kittens, little old
ladies, and little old you.

In fact, it is very naive to trust the Secret Police period.

Read the links. They lied in a hundred different ways. I pled to
something I did not do so I could be a dad to my kids again, instead
of never seeing them again before I die.

I did so with the knowledge that the great unwashed would judge me
harshly, but also knowing that the more intelligent people would
understand that plea deals in our corrupt federal court system have
about as much relation to reality as horseradish does to horses.

This is worth reading too:

I'm curious about something to which you may know the answer. In the
British House of Commons, Jews (most of them zionists) are
over-represented by a factor of eight. (To put this into context, if
Muslims were over-represented to the same degree, we'd have 200
Muslim MPs.) How does the US Congress compare?

Last I checked, there were 13 Jews in the US Senate, an
over-representation by a factor of about six and a half.

In the Congress, there are 32, an over-representation of nearly
three times.

Of course, this overly large presence among "lawmakers," far beyond
their proportion of the population, pales in comparison to their
over-representation in the mass media, which is legendary and
probably is on the order of 2,000 per cent. And it is largely the
media that determine who will be elected and who will not.

This is an excellent example of state terrorism. So many people are
rotting in American gulags because they were coerced into pleading
guilty. "Would you rather plead guilty and do five years or fifty?
It's your choice." Such a cruel gambit.

Leon Trotsky provided many great insights into the use of terrorism
in his treatise "Terrorism and Communism", a few examples:

"But terror can be very efficient against a reactionary class which
does not want to leave the scene of operations. Intimidation is a
powerful weapon of policy, both internationally and internally. War,
like revolution, is founded upon intimidation. A victorious war,
generally speaking, destroys only an insignificant part of the
conquered army, intimidating the remainder and breaking their will.
The revolution works in the same way: it kills individuals, and
intimidates thousands. In this sense, the Red Terror is not
distinguishable from the armed insurrection, the direct continuation
of which it represents. The State terror of a revolutionary class can
be condemned “morally” only by a man who, as a principle, rejects (in
words) every form of violence whatsoever – consequently, every war and
every rising."

"The problem of revolution, as of war, consists in breaking the will
of the foe, forcing him to capitulate and to accept the conditions of
the conqueror. The will, of course, is a fact of the physical world,
but in contradistinction to a meeting, a dispute, or a congress, the
revolution carries out its object by means of the employment of
material resources – though to a less degree than war. The bourgeoisie
itself conquered power by means of revolts, and consolidated it by the
civil war. In the peaceful period, it retains power by means of a
system of repression. As long as class society, founded on the most
deep-rooted antagonisms, continues to exist, repression remains a
necessary means of breaking the will of the opposing side."

"Even if, in one country or another, the dictatorship of the
proletariat grew up within the external framework of democracy, this
would by no means avert the civil war. The question as to who is to
rule the country, i.e., of the life or death of the bourgeoisie, will
be decided on either side, not by references to the paragraphs of the
constitution, but by the employment of all forms of violence. However
deeply Kautsky goes into the question of the food of the
anthropopithecus (see page 122 et seq. of his book) and other
immediate and remote conditions which determine the cause of human
cruelty, he will find in history no other way of breaking the class
will of the enemy except the systematic and energetic use of
violence."

"The degree of ferocity of the struggle depends on a series of
internal and international circumstances. The more ferocious and
dangerous is the resistance of the class enemy who have been
overthrown, the more inevitably does the system of repression take the
form of a system of terror."

Chapter Four: Terrorism is quite insightful and applicable to current
circumatances. The title could quite aptly be "Terrorism and
Capitalism".

Lastly, don't let the loud mouth moron in the peanut gallery get you
down. As you stated, the intelligent folks here understand that you
were railroaded. I thought we established that fact a long time ago.
Keep posting, your insights are among the few worthy of reading in
this withering newsgroup.

This is nothing new, or perhaps sinister. I recall reading "The Puzzle Palace" by James Bamford back in 1982
or so.

The [NSA] computers (massive Cray machines) were simply programmed to look for "key words", perhaps like bomb,
assassinate, etc., and then an alert to look at those things to determine whether there was some possible
threat or not.

Well, the Secret Police sure did bust you, a convicted pedophile!

They lied about me -- and they'd lie about you in a millisecond if
their masters ordered them to do so.

How did they lie, clown 'tard? YOU plead guilty!

You can spin it all you want, Strom, but the fact remains: YOU plead guilty.

You can play conservative all you want, but you are nothing more than a pedophile.

Read the links. They lied in a hundred different ways. I pled to
something I did not do so I could be a dad to my kids again, instead
of never seeing them again before I die.

Aw....

You might fool a lot of folks, but you certainly won't fool me!

Nice spin, pedophile, but that doesn't work with the cognoscenti.

You seem obsessed with the subject, an blatant case of "thou
protests too much". When is the last time you had a date? With a real
live female, not with you hand. No need to answer sailor, everyone
knows the answer.
