Dale Sommers: The Truckin Bozo
 

Is not expected to live much longer due to illness (Addisons
disease), death could come within days. He hosted an overnight radio
program on WLW Cincinnati for 20 years aimed at truckers. Most
recently he did an afternoon gig on XM radio (RoadDog trucking).

An abrasive personality but a talented and entertaining radio
broadcaster nonetheless. He lived quite an interesting life. It is a
shame he didn't compile all of his stories into written form for
posterity.

When Katrina flooded New Orleans, Dale Sommers said New Orleans shouldn't be rebuilt. I emailed him a couple of times explaining how important New Orleans ports and other Mississippi River ports are to America's economy. He got pizzed off at me about that. Screw that Jerk!!!
