Jew Judge Clears Military for 2003 Killing of Rachel Corrie

An Israeli judge has cleared Israel’s military of responsibility
for the killing of the U.S. peace activist Rachel Corrie. A 23-year-
old college student, Corrie was crushed to death by an Israeli army
bulldozer in Gaza nine years ago. She was standing in front of a
Palestinian home to help prevent its demolition. Today’s ruling came
in a wrongful death civil suit brought by Corrie’s family, with the
judge rejecting any negligence on the part of the driver and finding
that Corrie’s death resulted from "an accident she brought upon
herself." Corrie family attorney Hussein Abu Hussein denounced the
verdict.

Hussein Abu Hussein: "This verdict distorts the strong evidence
presented in court and contradicts fundamental principles of
international law with regard to protection of human right defenders.
In denying justice in [the] Rachel Corrie killing, this verdict speaks
to the systematic failure to hold the Israeli military accountable for
continuing violation of basic human rights."

The ruling follows an earlier internal Israeli army investigation
that also exonerated the bulldozer drivers. The Corrie family had been
seeking a symbolic $1 in damages, as well as legal fees.

A totally logical decision. She screwed up and paid the price. You can't
see **** in front of a bulldozer.

I will respectfully disagree with you.

Israeli story:

"We yelled at her several times to move and she didn't move. So we ran
her over with the bulldozer".

What they should have done:

Hey, this is one 150 lb girl. Why didn't they send in 3 or 4 or 5 big,
beefy soldiers and forcibly take her out of the way? That ain't rocket
science...and it would have saved the Israelis an international black eye.

Shame on the Israelis. :-(

Shame on the girl for not being intelligent enough to move out of the way (as
you say, that ain't rocket science). Because of her very stupid decision, she
is dead.

Meanwhile, the Israelis are busy getting rid of the threat of rockets being
fired into their territory.

Rockets and attacks go away, the Israelis go away. Pretty damn simple.

Perhaps Israel could use a portion of the hundreds of BILLIONS of $$
$ the U.S. taxpayers are forced to hand out to them to buy their
military personnel eye glasses. Evidently none of them see well
because their Navy and Air Force claimed the same thing when murdered
34 U.S. Navy sailors and maimed 174 others when they repeatedly
strafed and bombed the U.S.S. Liberty.
