alleged nuclear weapons program, this wasn’t the first time Netanyahu
has made such a prediction. In 1992 — 20 years ago — Netanyahu said

continuously for a decade, invading and bombing and occupying and

national/ethnic group on this planet (one which, despite its wealth,

Iran's acquisition of an atomic weapon would stabilize the
Middle East and actually enhance the chances for attaining "peace" for
that troubled region. The reality of mutual assured destruction would
demand it. Empirical evidence supports such a thesis, viz. USA-USSR
postwar relations.
