As simple, and silly, as it may sound. Check your
AGC switch, lower right. Make sure it's off. Also,
some times, the little tail, on the right, in your
battery compartment, needs a little bending. And,
lastly, the antenna connection, is not the best. It's
another tail-type connection. If this doesn't help,
join and read back posting to the grundig satellite
group on yahoo. There is 2 of them, just join both.
Good luck. (BTW, the 500 and 700 have the same
failings).
