How Sound Is Transmitted via Radio
This is a well-done film from the 1940s showing the basics of AM
radio broadcasting — and it also beautifully evokes the Old America of the time, before the current dumbing-down and racial decline really took hold. Make sure and watch it in full screen, as the resolution is quite good: http://3950.net/2013/06/how-sound-is...ted-via-radio/ Notice the station is using 833A tubes as _drivers_! And gotta love that open-wire feedline. 73, Kevin. -- http://nationalvanguard.org/ http://kevinalfredstrom.com/ |

At 20,000 feet above Earth, a shotgun blast sounds like striking a match. One time I had to strike a match to see if that light was lit. |
