But in my last message I was referring to _any_ movement, not a
particular one -- I could even say any human community.

I see you as so rigid and judgemental that you'd quickly drive away
anyone who didn't have an understanding closely comparable to yours.
And I just don't think you can build a community that way. And the
Liberty Net is more a voluntary community (with its leading lights
being teachers) than a movement.

While I agree that neocons and thoroughly brainwashed conservatives
are no more interesting to listen to (unless you're a student of
"consensus" propaganda, mind control, and psychopathology) than
snoring penguins, and while I acknowledge that such is heard on the
net too much for my taste, I still believe that an open forum is
valuable.

It is valuable in that real dissent is permitted, unlike in the
controlled media, and some of the participants will 1) be educated
by the more aware speakers, and 2) they will come to know the others
personally, and therefore may well be immune to System defamation of
them and outraged at any persecution they might suffer.



The Liberty Net has
been active for 37 years and things have never been worse. Yes
quite an effective "movement" you have going. The powers that be
must be quaking in their jack boots.



You could say the same thing about practically every resistance
effort in America today.


I have nothing against posers venting their anger and discontent
but I do have a problem with your delusions of grandeur.
Understand this and understand it good; the Liberty Net is a
group of kosher CONservatives, reactionary Republicans and by
gone John Birchers who do nothing but bitch and complain. When
was the last time one of you "patriots" participated in direct
action? Or been arrested for standing up for their principles?




The daring and sacrifices of some net members known to me is great
indeed, though they may not meet your lofty standards. And all their
acts and words are done in their _real names_, and with almost no
exceptions their addresses are public information. Few can say the
same, Mr. Salty.

You seem to be saying that even the best speakers on the Liberty Net
(the ones whose commentary you said you find insightful) talk too
much and do too little, should work harder to shut up their less
enlightened friends, and should be one Hell of a lot more humble.

First, I wonder -- What else one can do on an amateur radio net
besides speak? And second, these seem like damned petty things to
criticize when there are bankers, Zionists, and politicians to be
criticized and permanently relocated. Is the Liberty Net somehow
impeding the revolution?
