Bike

I've been using a Grundig E3 in my bike basket on
bike commutes to listen to ham CW for about a
year.

One thing I found was that I'm never out of breath
anymore. Apparently it puts you in a
noncompetitive bicycling mental space and you take
your time.

I've also noticed that the bands (20m 15m) that
used to be worldwide last year are pretty dead
these days, unless there's a CW contest going on,
where you get mostly North American hams even if
there are a lot of them.

Europe shows up occasionally in the evening
commute home.

Mostly I listen to the W1AW bulletins and code
practice MWF, because it's a continuing source
that lasts for a while. You don't have to retune
all the time in an otherwise dead band.
