My niece has a rescue dog greyhound. The dog was lucky, having avoided
the cruel ways some greyhound owners get rid of their not fast enough
dogs. He's VERY sweet and he wants attention and affection pretty much
24/7. It's heartbreaking to read that the racing dogs can be kept caged
up for 20 hours a day.

One of the weird stories about greyhound racing is that, generally, it's
