External Speaker ?

FO&A,

Anyone use one of these as an 'external speaker' with the Icom IC-R75,
Kenwood R-5000 or any other communications receiver ?

"The 'SOUNDS SWEET' Communications speakers maximize intelligibility
from your transceiver, receiver or portable by reproducing only the
communications voice and shortwave music frequencies coming from your
SSB, AM or FM communication or shortwave radio."

A Little "Pricey" at $99.

If you bought one and like it.

I use headphones most times, a surplus stereo speaker when my ears are
tired.

*It's probably useful, even if it can't be SPICE'd*

I also use headphones and a KOSS 3 band equalizer with my R-75;
Small speakers sold at Radio Shack also work,
as do Computer speakers..
