Excuse me butting in here, but I picked up the group's name from a Google
search, and it seemed to be an appropriate place to ask this... I have a Sony ICF 2001 which I bought new in the mid-80's. I used it a lot while camping in New Zealand and outback Australia, but now, here in a static-laden city, it just sits in the cupboard unused. It still works perfectly, so I thought I'd offer it on eBay. But I wonder, it being quite old in computer years, whether this would actually be a collector's item as well as a functioning radio. There can't be a lot of them around after all... Should I go the 'whole hog' and list it as 'available worldwide' or just locally in Australia? I'd like the old girl to go to someone who appreciates it. Thanks, Paul |
