You'll see that the troll who was posting the off-topic political
articles in these groups has been warned by Cotse to stop disrupting
these groups or get their account termed.

This proves that if people are truely serious about ridding these
groups of this troll, it can be done if it's done in appropriate ways.

As of 8/8/03 the troll is posting off-topic political articles to
rec.radio.scanner, rec.radio.shortwave & rec.radio.amateur.misc
impersonating as 'Sidewinder' via the frell.eu.org remailer and
responding to his own posts impersonating as 'GM' via Altopia.

All abuse to these groups by the troll should be refered to
and , plus bringing attention
to all of the trolls posts in news.admin.net-abuse.usenet should clear
the problem up, but only if you're serious about it and only if the
admin's of these remailers are as serious about the problem as Mr.
Gielda is.

Congrats on killing another one of the troll's abuse channels. Now
that he's been blocked by the Frog remailer and by Cotse, things are
slowly getting tougher for him. It's like slowly choking off a
terrorist network; it takes time and patience. His Altopia channel
should be next.

It's called a troll. Ignore it


Actually this one is beyond a troll. Excessive morphing and posting
substantively identical articles. Granted each one is a news story, but
the articles contain only text from news stories and if the user wants
that posted he should post it as links all in a single post rather than
as 20 separate posts each just containing a news story. It's a slightly
gray issue of BI, but we decided that it was abusive if continued and
because it is gray warned our user first.
