$10:95 Jwin JX-M14 9 band SWR ( Anyone heard of K & B )

Note my recent post to this newsgroup titled:
"Jwin radio for ~$10 (rather than ~$20)"
(latest post August 17, 2003).
I mentioned several sources in the ~$10
range. I also ordered from one of those
sources, and it's apparently on the way to
me. Will hopefully post about its scheduled
arrival tomorrow.

Randy, Thanks.
Many people in NYC and the rest of the Northeast are now purchasing
Flashlights, radios, and Good walking shoes.
Gave the B&H to my wife for work, with Extra batteries, and a few easy
frequencies.

FWIW, I was in Big-Lots getting some storage bins the other day and noticed
they had about 10 of the little "Coby" am/fm/sw portables in there for
about 8 bucks($7.9x). Not sure if it's worth messing with...

The Coby is the same as the Bell and Howell that people have been
talking about in this newsgroup. It's not great by any stretch of the
imagination, but for 7.99, an OK knockabout radio.

Sorry, Mitchell, that's incorrect. I own both the Coby as well as the
Bell+Howell -- they are completely different radios. Their only
similarity is their analog freq selection, their Chinese origin, and
their price class.
