You will NOT remove God from our state!

I dont have to deal with it down there, but if any judge attempted
this in my county I would be right there cheering the federal marshalls
arresting his supporters.

Whatever became of Rev. Ike? Haven't heard him on the radio in YEARS.

Too bad he didn't double team with profit Stair.

I don't know what the fuss is about. The ten commandments are a relic of the
past. The Christian new covenant replaced them, so did the Jewish Talmud. I
don't think Islam even referenced them. The other religions were never related
to the 10 C's that I know of.

AFAIK, the Talmud does not replace the 10 commandments, which are in
the Torah. The Talmud is the work of rabbis commenting on Torah, which
is (so they say) the work of God.

Could you provide some evidence for this claim that the Talmud
replaces the 10 commandments?

I can't disagree with you there. I had only presumed the 10 C's were replaced
or, rather, superseded by the Talmud. And I believe I meant the Torah at the
time I wrote that.

The difference is that the 10 C's are shall nots, whereas, the Torah is a set
of must do's.

The 10 Commandments are found in the Torah, which is the first 5 books
of the Old Testament -- gen, lev, deut, num, exodus, I believe. The
Torah is "The Law". The Talmud is commentaries on it.

Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy also referred to as the
Pentateuch (sp?)
