But no shortwave? Tragically no shortwave. It would be nice to have about 3 shortwave bands added to this rig. Say 5 mHz to 18 mHz. With Sangeans shortwave experience it could be a very nice radio. A major step up from the Grundig Classic 960. Bob |

Bob I think they'd clean house on the entry level tabletop market if put the guts of a 909 in a cabinet like this with a nice tuning knob and a so-239 or BNC antenna connector. |

For everyone's information, just found this new review. It's only 2 days old! It looks like Sangean is coming out with a new radio. It looks pretty good too. Something unique is that there is a user feedback form so you can send a message to the CEO of Sangean. This is a must read for everyone intersted in radio. The radio won't even be released for another 2 months. http://www.radiolabs.com/Articles/woodradio.html Just thought I would let everyone know! Ciao! Lee The 'radiolabs' server wasn't working when I tried to see the review, late Sat. night. -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 100,000 Newsgroups - 19 Different Servers! =----- |
