Advice for pricing radios to sell
Greetings, all...
Due to a dramatic turn for the worse in my financial situation, I'm going to be unloading some radios. Unfortunately, I've no clue as to where to price them. I want fair prices that will attract buyers, but I do need the money, which is why I'm selling. I'm selling a LOWE (SMC) HF-150 and a Sears-badged FRG-7. Would $350 and $200 respectively be reasonable prices to ask? I plan on selling them at a hamfest. Thanks much! -- Eric F. YOU CAN TRY TWO PLACES:
Ebay including completed itmes or http://www.DXing.com/rx/rxindex.htm A good list or equipment. The Lowe 150 is a super lil radio. Shawn "Eric F. Richards" wrote: Greetings, all... Put them on Ebay and let them price themselves.
I sold 3 year old NAD stero equipment for nearly what I payed for it new. mike "Eric F. Richards" wrote in message ... Greetings, all... I'd far rather sell them for a few dollars -- like $10 or $20 -- less from someone who gives me cash or a check with an address on it face to face than deal with Ebay. I'm also a believer in hamfests, which have been gutted by Ebay fever. I did well at the last one when I unloaded some other radios. FYI the hamfest is in Longmont, CO. -- Eric F.
