2-channel VOX?
 

Does anybody make a VOX-like device, two audio channels in, one out,
that plays channel one unless channel two comes on, and then switches
to channel 2?

You'd think for listening to background music except when some other
channel happens would have generated this device somewhere, off the
shelf.

I suppose you could employ the external relay contacts on the NiteLogger II
to actuate one or more relays to route audio from 2 receivers
alternately to a common speaker or a resistive load.

I reviewed the NiteLogger II in August 1996 Monitoring Times.
At one time, it was available from Amateur Electronic
Supply http://www.aesham.com for about $70.

This outfit shows the NiteLogger II on a web page for about $100, but
their price is higher than what I recall seeing elsewhe
